We had such a fantastic time with Dave. He was incredibly knowledgeable about San Salvador and El Salvador and made sure to tel us the history with his own personal stories mixed in. He was so happy and lively and showed us the best food in the market and gave great recommendations. My friend and I were truly shocked with his professionalism and kindness. This was the best walking tour I have been on. Dave is so knowledgeable. He showed us amazing sights and told us about the very interesting history of his city. Dave is a great guide and you can feel his passion and love for San Salvador and the country more widely. Hearing how much things have changed over his lifetime and the hopes for the future was a great insight. The walk was a good pace and oriented us well in the city. We stopped at all the key sites with time to appreciate them, and he pointed out good places for coffee, papusas and more as well as taking us to a local coffee appt for traditional cakes and coffee to refuel after the beautiful Rosario Church.
